Ceramic Insulated Band Heaters are constructed with a stainless steel shroud enclosing high quality ceramic knuckles through which run coiled high temperature nickel-chromium element wire.

GW Ceramic Insulated Band Heaters are constructed with a stainless steel shroud enclosing high quality ceramic knuckles through which run coiled high temperature nickel-chromium element wire. This construction allow the inside surface temperature to reach approximately around 1200ºF. The most common applications include plastic injection moulding machines extruders and blow moulding equipment. The flexibility of the metal housing allows the use of wider and one piece band heaters. Ceramic band heaters are available with different terminal styles, are fully flexible, and can accommodate holes and cut-outs.
