Description

PTFE heaters are ideal for the heating of pure or corrosive liquids within tanks. PTFE is usually selected for the superior corrosion resistance and compared to metals. Unlike most of the other heaters that use large single tube, the PTFE heaters use a smaller diameter continuous element. The use of the smaller diameter offers greater flexibility in the design of the heater in that the element can be formed in many different shapes to best suit your application.

The HOTROD OTS 6 Elements Teflon Immersion Heater features 6 Incoloy® sheathed, Teflon® sleeved, U-shaped elements to provide single or three phase heating in a compact space. This heaters are designed for installing on the top of a tank with the heated portion directly immersed on the side. All HOTROD’s teflon heaters are supplied with “One-Time” thermal-fuse as over-heating protection. Special design of liquid tight terminal cover prevents entry of liquids. A polypropylene protection guards are recommended.
