Description

The silica and quartz immersion heaters are widely used in diverse industries, which require heating of corrosive liquids such as electro- plating solutions and scale removing baths. These silica and quartz immersion heaters are economical, clean, efficient and are considered to be an extremely safe mode of heating. The silica and quartz heaters are completely unaffected by most acids up to highest temperatures, barring hydrofluoric and phosphoric.

The HOTROD OTS Single Quartz Heaters are used when the corrosion resistance of the quartz glass tube is desirable. Grounded metal heating element are insert into the quartz glass which are designed to allow replacement of elements within the tube. All HOTROD’s quartz heaters are supplied with “One-Time” thermal fuse preventer as over-heating. Special design liquid tight terminal cover prevents entry of liquids. Due to the nature of quartz (glass), polypropylene (PP) protection guards are recommended.
