High Temperature Ceramic Sheathed Push-In Thermocouple Without Process Connection Complete With Connection Head.

For processes operating temperature measurement to 1600ºC (2912ºF) in kilns, furnaces and flues etc. Available in thermocouple types K and J with an impervious aluminous porcelain sheath or type S and R with an impervious recrystallised alumina sheath, construction include a 100mm (4”) long stainless steel support tube attached to a weatherproof connection head. Varies of ceramic material sheaths are available. Most refractory ceramic products can be used only in high temperature applications where one or two of the following properties are required: thermal shock resistant, mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance or electrical insulation.
